ENG 301 Rhetoric
Credits: 4
This course introduces you to a variety of professional writing genres. In this course, you will learn how to recognize and write for specific audiences and purposes and in a variety of styles.
COM 347 Copy Editing
Credits: 4
this course, you will develop effective editing techniques for professional materials through intensive practice. You will learn to edit for content as well as for grammar, mechanics, and conventions.
ENG 310 Technical Writing
Credits: 4
In this course, you will learn effective techniques for researching, designing, writing, and editing commonly used professional documents such as letters, instructions, reports, and proposals.
COM 370 Writing for Public Relations
Credits: 4
This course will develop your skills in creating effective documents for public relations including presentations, media releases, and annual reports.

Prerequisites:
Applicants must have successfully completed at least two college-level English composition courses.

Students completing all four courses with a grade of B- or higher will be awarded the certificate
